Marcy A. Millard In 2006, she joined a medium size firm in Buckhead, where she gained the experience and organization offered by larger firms. In 2008, Marcy took the experience she gained from the small firm and the knowledge she obtained from the larger firm and began her own practice. Marcy’s parents divorced when she was thirteen. Although it was an amicable divorce, Marcy acted out to get her parent’s attention. After reflection and therapy, Marcy began to understand how one parent’s behavior can affect a child and how the non-offending parent can help their children navigate a divorce. It was at this time she decided to focus her law practice on family law. Marcy’s efforts have reunited children with their parents, separated children and spouses from abusive parties, and obtained child support for children and their custodial parents. Marcy's real life experience of being a child of divorced parents has also helped her understand what it means to act in the best interest of the children and advise her clients how to protect the best interest of the children. Marcy's real life experiences and legal expertise helps her clients obtain the best possible results in an already difficult situation. |
