Marcy A. Millard
Marcy A. Millard
Alpharetta Divorce Lawyer
Marcy spent her younger years in a small town in upstate New York. She entered the State University of New York at Potsdam, where she obtained her degree in Math and Education. She moved to Georgia and pursued further studies at Georgia State Law School from 2001 to 2004. After completing her degree, she began her career with a small law firm in Lawrenceville, where she tried and managed cases on family and criminal law.
She gained more experience in the field when she joined a medium-sized firm in Buckhead back in 2006. After gaining enough experience and insights from both small and larger firms, Alpharetta divorce lawyer Marcy started her own practice in 2008.
A Personal Connection to Her Work
Marcy’s parents divorced during her early teens. Although both her parents were still in amicable terms after the divorce, Marcy strived to gain her parent’s attention. After much reflection throughout her career, Marcy began to understand how a parent could help children navigate through a divorce. With children of her own, she also learned how an adult’s actions or behaviors could affect a child. These experiences were her main drive to focus her practice on family law.
Striving for Success in All
As an Alpharetta divorce attorney, Marcy has worked on many cases during the past years, helping children reunite with parents or escape from abusive parties. She also helped clients through the ins and outs of child support. With her personal experience as a child of divorced parents, Marcy has taught clients how to act and protect the best interests of children. Her well-established experience in the legal field has also helped clients obtain the best possible solutions during difficult situations.
